GO-EUREKA at AOGS 2026: Six Presentations in Fukuoka
GO-EUREKA team members presented six talks and posters at the AOGS 2026 Annual Meeting in Fukuoka, Japan, spanning invited, oral, and poster sessions on ionospheric earthquake and tsunami detection.
Members of the GO-EUREKA network took part in the AOGS 2026 Annual Meeting, held 2–7 August 2026 in Fukuoka, Japan, under the theme “Science Horizons, Pacific Synergy.” Across the week, the team delivered six presentations — one invited oral, three contributed orals, and two posters — sharing the latest results on detecting earthquakes and tsunamis from ionospheric GNSS observations.

An Award-Winning Week
We are especially proud that PhD student Ines Dahlia Ouar was recognized with a Best Student Poster Award for her presentation on near real-time earthquake detection and localization from ionospheric TEC. Read the full story in our dedicated announcement.
Thank You, Fukuoka
Our thanks go to the AOGS organizers and to everyone who attended our talks and posters, asked questions, and exchanged ideas throughout the week. These conversations continue to sharpen our approach to near-real-time ionospheric monitoring for earthquake and tsunami early warning.
Stay tuned for more updates as the GO-EUREKA network keeps growing!
